SPRINGING INTO JUMPSUITS
Spring has finally sprung and jumpsuits are making a comeback again this season
…or did they ever leave?
Depends who you ask. If you talk to me, you’ll soon find out they’ve been a staple in my wardrobe for years now (In fact, you’ll still find my first ever jumpsuit circa American Eagle 2014 in my closet to this day). There’s nothing I love more than versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down and jumpsuits tend to do exactly that! From weddings to week nights, you can pull the look together with heels and a clutch, or slip on a pair of sneakers and a denim jacket – the perfect transition piece for day to night or any & all occasions! And let’s be real, aren’t we all looking to minimize our closet waste this year? If so, jumpsuits do just that by acting as a dress-up-or-dress-down do-it-all!
Another thing I LOVE about jumpsuits is the easiness of them. Pulling on just one piece of clothing but still looking put together? I literally could not ask for anything more… besides, being comfortable is key especially in the summer when it’s hot hot hot and there’s nothing that makes me feel more comfy AND confident than a jumpsuit. This season, I’ll be continuing to swap the dresses for jumpsuits and rompers as there’s just something the slightest bit more empowering about wearing them! It’s like wearing your power suit, only less restricting and more fun!
I wore this striped off the shoulder number to a business casual event, but I could certainly dress it up even further with a blazer and a leather bag, or take it down a notch with slides or sneakers for an easy look. You can guarantee this piece will be coming along with me to Italy and Greece this summer – hello the easiest outfit to pack ever! I can already imagine sipping wine and eating baguettes in this one piece (no food baby visible).
How do you rock jumpsuits? Dressed up or down? Let me know in the comments!

P.S. does this look remind you of anything?… IDK what you think, but to me it’s a bit of a deja vu to one of my first ever blog posts, Stripe it Down!
