Building a work wardrobe can be a daunting task.

I’m the first to say any reason to buy more clothes is a good reason, but it can be difficult selecting pieces that are office-appropriate to get you through the 9-5, 5 days a week without outfit-repeating. Thankfully, MPG is here to provide us with Business Casual pieces for the day-to-day!

For this reason, my take on a work wardrobe is simple: invest in those key pieces  that you can wear over and over again by swapping out different complimentary pieces, and then spend a little less on those complimentary/seasonal pieces that you’ll likely only wear for 6-12 months.

#1: A draping cardigan

This one is a necessity or anyone who works in an office that is always freezing cold.  I swear every office I’ve ever worked in keeps the AC blasting all summer and winter long, and I’m always there freezing in my cute summer get-ups wishing I could be wrapped up in a blanket in the corner of my cubicle.
